Skillet Apple-Cinnamon Biscuit Cobbler
Nothing says fall quite like warm spiced apples. This rustic Southern skillet cobbler skips homemade pie crust and uses canned apple pie filling spiked with apple cider, topped with golden refrigerated biscuit tops, and brushed with cinnamon sugar. This warm and cozy dessert will give you all of the fall vibes!

Ingredients:
2 cans (21 oz each) apple pie filling
1/4 cup apple cider or apple juice
1 tsp ground cinnamon, divided
1/4 tsp ground allspice
1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated grand buttermilk biscuits
2 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp granulated sugar
You will also need:
Oven-safe skillet or 9x13” baking dish
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In an oven-safe skillet or 9x13” baking dish, mix apple pie filling, apple cider, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, and allspice.
Heat skillet on stove over MEDIUM heat for 3–4 minutes until fruit mixture is bubbling.
Separate biscuit dough, cut each biscuit in half, and arrange pieces on top of warm apple filling.
Brush biscuit tops with melted butter.
Mix remaining 1/2 tsp cinnamon with granulated sugar and sprinkle over biscuits.
Transfer skillet to preheated oven and bake for 18–20 minutes until biscuits are deep golden brown and cooked through.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
